I've noticed that a lot of your work contains crosses... I hope this isn't too intrusive of a question, but are you a very religious person or do they just visually appeal to you?
I'm Christian, my husband's whole family is Catholic, but I'm not overly religious. I've always just loved crosses and rosaries. I think they're beautiful.
One thing though, in your description. I was under the impression that the cabochon is a dragon's breath opal [link]
It shines exactly like it. It's also one of my utmost favorite faux opals, despite not using it in my jewelry creations.
