La Belle Anne

I've had this vintage cameo since I was a kid. Yes, that's how far my love of cameos and all things vintage goes back. I can't recall where I got it.....but it was in an old pendant. I repurposed it and it became this lovely, understated cuff.

I played around with a lot of different filigree with this design, but in the end settled on the simplicity of the few little pieces I have here, and the little pearls, hidden under the nouveau ribbons. Keeping it so simple also allows the gorgeous floral detailing in the cuff itself to stand out and be recognized.

I am so glad to see this get a DD - it's an absolutely stunning piece and the way you pull together all the pieces to make this such an elegant (yet still very simple) bracelet amazes me. I'm so surprised I didn't comment on this one before... but here it is now! Congratulations darling. =)
